Puff Popper Waffle Cones

For the ultimate in ice cream cones, you can offer puff popper waffle cones! Sweet and chewy, they make for an extremely tasty, high-value treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag #5018 Old Fashioned Waffle Mix
  • 10 cups of water

Directions

  • Pour waffle mix into a bowl and add 5 cups of water. Mix using a wire whisk until smooth, approximately 1 minute on low speed.
  • Add the remaining 5 cups of water while blending for 30 seconds.
  • Scrape the sides of the bowl and continue to blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
  • Rest batter for 10 minutes, then stir batter down. For fluffier waffles do not stir batter down.
  • Pour the waffle batter on a seasoned Puff Popper Baker.
  • Bake for approximately 2 1/2 minutes at 400˚F.
  • Remove waffle from waffle iron and place directly into paper food cone to form shape.
  • Fill with ice cream and toppings and serve immediately.
