Salty Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

 

Serve up this sweet and salty treat at your next event. With just a few ingredients you can offer decadent Salty Chocolate Caramel Popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 5 gallons of popcorn popped in white coconut oil 
  • 1 package of Caramel Corn Treats Mix #2094
  • 4 ounces of yellow coconut oil #2652
  • 4 cups of Brown Sugar 
  • 12 ounces of water
  • 1 pound of butter
  • 1 bottle of Free N Easy #2250QT
  • 1 cup of #5377 Milk Chocolate wafers
  • Sea Salt Shaker

Directions

  • Take lid off Mark 5 Cooker Mixer 
  • Turn on heat/motor switch on 
  • Add the following directly to the cooker mixer
    • 4oz. of yellow coconut oil #2652
    • 1 package of Caramel Corn Treats Mix #2094
    • 4 cups of brown sugar 
    • 12oz. of water
  • Place the lid back on the cooker mixer
  • Begin to melt the milk chocolate wafers slowly in the microwave, stirring frequently
  • When buzzer sounds, turn heat/motor switch OFF
  • Turn motor switch ON
  • Take lid off the cooker mixer
  • Add the 5 gallons of popped popcorn to the cooker mixer
  • Tilt Cooker to 2nd position to let popcorn mix
  • Spray 10 squirts of #2250Qt
  • Let popcorn mix for 1 minute inside cooker mixer or until fully coated
  • Dump popcorn into cooling tray
  • Cool popcorn for 5 minutes by stirring popcorn constantly
  • Take a spoon and drizzle the 1 cup of milk chocolate over the popcorn
  • Sprinkle sea salt over the popcorn
  • Allow popcorn and chocolate to cool
  • Bag or store popcorn
