How To Clean The PopClean® Popper

Learn how to clean the kettle on your Gold Medal PopClean® Series Popper with this step-by-step guide to daily kettle cleaning. We’ll cover the supplies you need, how to use Gold Medal Heat’n Clean, rinsing the kettle, and removing and reinstalling the agitator assembly to reach difficult areas.

In this video, we'll cover:

Preparing your popper for kettle cleaning
Cleaning the kettle exterior with Gold Medal Watchdog Stainless Steel Cleaner
Mixing and using Heat’n Clean solution
Draining, rinsing, and wiping the kettle interior
Using the clean-in-place hook
Removing and reinstalling the agitator assembly
Checking agitator alignment and wiping the kettle lead cord

IMPORTANT: Allow the kettle to cool for at least one hour before cleaning. Never use ice or water to cool a hot kettle, and do not use oven cleaners or abrasive materials. Follow the power and unplugging instructions shown throughout the video, and keep moisture out of the kettle lead cord.
