Gold Medal Products Co. Contributes to COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Gold Medal Products Co. Contributes to COVID-19 Relief Efforts

In response to the impact of COVID-19, Gold Medal Products Co. reached out to health care workers and front-line responders in need of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The company made contributions of N95 masks and latex gloves to Indiana’s Dearborn County Hospital for doctors, nurses, and other medical staff battling the pandemic and PPE shortage. After being notified of an additional need for face shields, Gold Medal secured the shields from their supplier for the hospital to acquire directly.

In addition, Gold Medal has made several donations to area fire departments. The company sent N95 masks to a volunteer fire department in Carlisle, PA, and boxes of masks, along with nitrile and latex gloves, to Chief Mike Hauck of the Evendale Fire Department, located in Cincinnati, OH, the hometown of Gold Medal's corporate offices.

The company has also announced it will be donating their portion pack nacho chips and cheese cups to Bethesda North Hospital, of Cincinnati, in preparation for an employee appreciation day that will be held on Cinco de Mayo, May 5th.

"Gold Medal remains focused on supporting the well-being and safety of our community, front-line responders, and employees," said Adam Browning, President of Gold Medal. "We'd like to offer our profound gratitude to the courageous contributions of the many healthcare professionals and volunteers during these challenging times."
