Our Culture

Family owned and operated since 1931, Gold Medal has the philosophy that our employees are the heart of our business. Creating a work atmosphere that is both engaging and enjoyable is a priority. If you walk through our building, you’ll catch the delicious aroma of freshly popped popcorn. We offer employees free popcorn throughout the workday. In addition, our culture is highly relational from having a live person to answer every phone call to regularly communicating company news and employee recognition in our quarterly newsletter, The Screamin’ Eagle. Also, Gold Medal holds our annual company picnic at a local Cincinnati attraction, like Kings Island or the Cincinnati Zoo, where employees and their families are invited to enjoy a day full of fun, food, prize giveaways, and community. We take pride in the longevity of our employees through our Service Awards program that rewards individuals for each five-year increment of employment with our company. Last, but certainly not least, Gold Medal offers an impressive profit sharing program, which encourages every employee to do his/her part to help us achieve our best each and every year.
