Technical Service Associate (Cincinnati)


Gold Medal Products Company, the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of popcorn and “fun food” concession equipment and supplies, is searching for a Technical Service Associate to join our growing team.

Job Function: Assist internal and external customers with product problems and take associated parts orders both on the phone and by email. Work on special projects when assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with product problems through diagnostic means and process parts orders.\
  • Keep current with product knowledge. May include spending time in assembly and the repair department.
  • Occasionally assist with customer training, dealer conference, assisting engineering with product testing.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Electro mechanical aptitude enabling diagnostics and repair of basic food machine equipment.

  • Basic understanding of a manufacturing Bill of Material

  • Basic understand of electrical wiring diagrams.

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. 

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.


Previous Experience:

  • Customer service in a technical or sales related position.

  • Microsoft Office products.
