Customer Service Representative (Cincinnati)

Gold Medal Products Co., the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of popcorn and “fun food” concession equipment and supplies, has an immediate need for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our Evendale, OH Headquarters.
The CSR is responsible for receiving and processing inquiries and orders by phone, fax, postal mail, e-mail, and Internet. The CSR must answer questions regarding product, prices, and various other inquiries from customers, dealers, and other team members. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making outgoing phone calls to customers and prospects and doing a small amount of cold-calling to grow new business.
Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills. Regular interaction with team members, sales and other departments, branches, dealers and customers requires a friendly, approachable demeanor and professionalism. Must be a team player. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly while delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment are key attributes of this individual.
Qualifications:
- Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn a wide variety or product lines and customers, while delivering quality work, are key requirements for this position.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Regular interaction with customers and team members requires a friendly approachable demeanor.
- Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and efficiently in person, on the telephone, over the Internet and in all correspondence.
- Good mathematical competency.
- Must have strong work ethic and a high energy level for fast paced environment.
- Ability to work with a diversified work force and customer base.
- Computer skills including but not limited to, MS Office Word, Excel, SalesForce, and basic user- level competence for both Windows and DOS applications.
- Experience with EDI Transmissions or "Retail Link" preferred.
- Minimum 2 years customer service or the equivalent experience, education, or aptitude
